This position is responsible for leading the development of new customer sales to meet the overall business objectives. Work closely with customers to develop new programs and delivery a premier customer experience.

Requirements

  • 4-year Bachelor's Degree in engineering, sciences, business or related field required.
  • 0-2+ years of experience of demonstrated ability to perform the essential customer management functions of the job.
  • Solid knowledge of marketing practices and strategies with emphasis on customer acquisition and retention a plus.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of contracts and pricing agreements to facilitate customer contract negotiations a plus.
  • Comfortable managing through change and working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Demonstration of excellent writing and presentation skills to internal and external audiences.
  • Proven success in managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously within short timelines.
  • Must be a US Citizen or have US Permanent Resident Status.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of new customer sales to meet overall business objectives.
  • Work closely with customers to develop new programs and deliver a premier customer experience.
  • Accountable for contract, delivery, quality performance, and relationship management for assigned OEM customers.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the customer and all affiliated products, projects, escalations, and performance metrics.
  • Manage and serve as the customer advocate to ensure effective product management processes, schedules, costs, resources, and commitments to customers are met.
  • Collaborate with cross functional and divisional teams internally to facilitate timely execution of customer needs.
  • Support internal and external leadership level discussions, reviews, and negotiations as an essential advocate for the customer and the business relationship.
  • Drive sales growth globally with key customers in the market segment.
  • Identify new business development opportunities of targeted segments and create go to market strategies to win new business.
  • Coordinate application engineering support of key programs.
  • Interact with marketing communications team to establish targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Work collaboratively with senior management to drive results.
  • Ensure customer requirements and contractual obligations are met.
  • Lead the development of program plans covering mature and new product development programs.
  • Participate in program planning efforts; direct all phases of programs throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Respond to all customer requests and serve as the primary point of contact for all product activities, status, escalation, and problem resolution.
  • Serve as key host, presenter, and facilitator at major program reviews.
  • Act as a consultant to management on specific programs or overall program management.
  • Establish goals and objectives required to complete programs.
  • Provide mentoring within program management and leadership to varied project teams.
  • Evaluate and monitor competition and recommend strategies for market share growth for global customers.
  • Collaborate closely with product line management, operations, and sales to assure plans are aligned and executed.
  • Develop marketing programs and campaigns to attract potential customers and drive new opportunities in current customers.
  • Support sales cycle with key deliverables including presentations, project management, and other collateral to support sales team.
  • Drive sales team to penetrate key accounts and coordinate global efforts to close new business opportunities.
