About the position

The Customer Programs and Products Manager at Avangrid is responsible for managing the development, implementation, and operational requirements of electric vehicle programs and product offerings. This role aims to meet or exceed growth, revenue, and regulatory objectives through collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders. The manager will focus on enhancing existing programs and creating new offerings that address customer needs while optimizing the electric system's demand management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the development and implementation of electric vehicle programs and product offerings.
  • Achieve growth, savings, and profitability targets for existing programs and products.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive program/product plans in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Monitor budget development, variance reporting, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee vendor-related services, including procurement processes and vendor management.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by ensuring programs meet customer expectations and resolving issues promptly.
  • Develop detailed proposals for new offerings based on customer needs and energy technologies.
  • Serve as a liaison with utility regulators and industry peers to advance program initiatives.
  • Identify and initiate process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and reduce costs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 5-7 years of relevant experience in managing complex technical programs or projects.
  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of the electric and gas utility industry, including utility tariffs and rates.
  • Experience with energy market structures and state/federal energy laws.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and Salesforce.

  • Experience in managing data and process development.
  • Knowledge of electric vehicles and related technologies.
  • Experience in regulatory compliance and reporting.
