About the position

The Customer Quality Representative is responsible for providing quality assurance support at customer placements within the assigned areas, ensuring high standards of chick quality and effective communication with management. This role involves significant travel and requires building strong relationships with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Attend customer placements within assigned area (TN, AL, MS)
  • Provide quality assurance support at customer placements
  • Communicate with Hatchery management and Technical managers regarding placement and chick quality observations
  • Develop good working relationships with all customers and Aviagen Teams
  • Write detailed trip reports after each placement

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Poultry Science or related field and/or relevant experience
  • Knowledge of hatchery operations or the poultry industry
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel (with Pivot Tables), PowerPoint, and Word
  • Self-motivated and disciplined, capable of working unsupervised
  • Flexible and adaptable work schedule
  • Effective communication, organizational, interpersonal, and social skills
  • Strong time management and organization with an emphasis on prioritizing objectives and planning tasks
  • Ability to effectively and professionally resolve conflict
