About the position

The Customer Relations Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for customers with inquiries or vehicle issues, ensuring efficient and effective resolution of concerns. This role involves managing vehicle service contracts, delegating tasks to third-party service shops, and maintaining clear communication with customers to enhance service quality and customer retention.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers who have inquiries or issues with their vehicles.
  • Assess customer needs and delegate tasks to third-party service shops to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Manage and dispatch work related to vehicle service contracts sold at the dealership.
  • Maintain clear communication with customers throughout the service process to keep them informed of progress and estimates.
  • Collaborate with service technicians and third-party vendors to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
  • Document customer interactions and feedback to enhance service processes and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze customer service metrics and recommend improvements to retain customers and enhance their experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in automotive service or customer service is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and software related to service management.
