About the position

The Customer Relationship Analyst 2 (CRA 2) role at Huntington Distribution Finance focuses on building strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and manufacturers by providing exceptional customer service and support. This position is integral to managing risk, ensuring compliance with program terms, and maintaining ongoing relationships with existing dealers. It offers a pathway for career development in Portfolio Management, Credit, or Sales within the inventory finance industry.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains the credit needs of a dealer or distributor.
  • Functions as the primary point of contact for the dealer, fielding inquiries.
  • Works with the processing team in Finance to ensure correct application of dealer funds and timely clearing of balances.
  • Leverages account management systems to identify stressed accounts and escalate issues to management with recommendations.
  • Communicates dealer needs and concerns to appropriate teams including Sales, Finance, Credit, and Compliance.
  • Supports the boarding process for new dealer applications and remains the primary contact until account activation.
  • Engages in process improvement projects as directed by the Portfolio Manager.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • 5 years' experience in customer service.
  • 2+ years' experience in collections or credit analysis.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or economics.
  • 1 year of experience in customer service, collections, or credit roles within inventory and/or equipment finance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service with empathy for dealers' needs.
  • Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data to solve complex account issues.
  • Critical thinking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and inquisitive mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
  • Self-motivated and self-regulated.
