About the position

The Customer Resolutions Specialist at IKEA is responsible for addressing and resolving customer issues in a retail environment. This role emphasizes urgency in problem-solving while balancing customer needs with store operations. The specialist will utilize their product knowledge and expertise to enhance customer experiences and ensure satisfaction, particularly in kitchen and bath installations.

Responsibilities

  • Resolving customer issues with urgency while balancing the needs of the customer and the IKEA Store.
  • Identifying and reporting quality issues based on data gathered in returns.
  • Investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and working with Independent Service Providers (ISPs) daily to resolve customer complaints.
  • Using product and solution expertise to enhance customer experiences.
  • Partnering with Kitchen Installation Specialists to solve escalated kitchen and bath issues.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in retail sales or customer service experience.
