About the position

As a Customer Sales Advisor at Halfords, you will be part of a dynamic retail environment focused on delivering exceptional customer service. This part-time role requires you to work 20 hours per week, primarily in Tiverton, Devon. You will be responsible for engaging with customers, demonstrating products, and providing fitting services. The position offers a competitive hourly wage, with rates varying based on age: £11.44 per hour for those aged 21 and over, and £8.60 for those under 21. Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Demonstrate and explain products effectively to customers.
• Assist with fitting services and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work towards achieving sales targets and contribute to store performance.
• Maintain a proactive approach to customer service and problem-solving.

Requirements

• Experience in delivering great customer service, ideally in a retail sales environment.
• Proactive approach to helping customers and understanding their needs.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Availability to work on a rota basis, including weekends.
• Ideally, some experience of working towards and achieving sales targets.

Nice-to-haves

• Retail sales experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in a customer-focused sales environment.
