About the position

The Customer Sales Associate at Trane Technologies plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and support at Trane Supply stores. This position involves assisting customers with their needs, resolving issues related to parts or equipment, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions. The associate is expected to have a solid understanding of product offerings, achieve sales goals, and manage the order process effectively to enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to customers and resolve problems to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Partner with customers to grow sales by identifying related products or add-on extensions.
• Process customer orders and respond to inquiries, questions, or complaints regarding Parts and Supply offerings.
• Keep current on knowledge of Trane Products, offerings, and promotions to provide a premier customer experience.
• Interact with customers both on the phone and in person.
• Execute quote and order management processes with high accuracy to expedite fulfillment and ensure timely delivery.
• Assist with warehouse/inventory management work as needed.
• Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as required.

Requirements

• GED or High School Diploma required.
• Inside sales, retail, or related experience preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment with a focus on customer service.
• Proven experience in building customer relationships and maintaining professional service.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in sales or customer service roles.
• Knowledge of Trane products and services.
