About the position

The Customer Sales Executive at The Hershey Company is responsible for driving business growth by collaborating with various teams to achieve sales objectives, including net sales, market share, and sales activity margin. This role involves strategic planning, negotiation, and building strong partnerships with customers to understand their needs and leverage insights for effective business planning.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other Customer Sales Executives and support teams to grow Hershey's business.
  • Achieve net sales, market share, trade spend, and sales activity margin targets for assigned customers.
  • Manage and allocate trade funds while maintaining compliance with Sarbanes Oxley policies.
  • Utilize analytical tools to drive profitable and predictable sales results.
  • Build and maintain sales plans in the forecasting system.
  • Monitor and control customer expenses, including waste and supply chain costs.
  • Provide category analysis and consumer insights to customers and category management partners.
  • Achieve high levels of account penetration across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7-9 years of sales experience.
  • Prior sales and category management experience is a plus.
