About the position

As a Customer Service Advisor at Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC), you will be the first and last point of contact for customers, responsible for creating lasting impressions and building customer loyalty. This role involves using product knowledge to present oil change options and additional services, ensuring exceptional customer experiences. The position offers comprehensive training to equip you with the necessary skills and confidence to excel in customer interactions and technical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Create lasting impressions and build customer loyalty through effective communication.
• Present oil change options and additional services based on customer needs.
• Utilize product knowledge to assist customers in making informed decisions.
• Participate in on-the-job training to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Suggest additional services based on inspections and recommendations.
• Interact face-to-face with customers in a welcoming manner.

Requirements

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the automotive field.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Full mobility to work with hands above head and stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Fluency in English for reading, writing, and speaking.
