About the position

The Customer Service Agent at Piedmont Airlines plays a crucial role in ensuring a smooth boarding and disembarking process for passengers. This position involves assisting customers, operating equipment, and maintaining high standards of service in a dynamic airport environment. The role requires physical stamina and effective communication skills to meet the needs of travelers and support the airline's operational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking flights
  • Monitor computerized passenger boarding
  • Assist customers with special needs, including arranging for wheelchairs and unaccompanied minors
  • Change customer flight itinerary and seat assignments as required
  • Operate the Jetway
  • Load and unload baggage and cargo
  • Operate motorized service vehicles and equipment
  • Guide and park aircraft
  • Perform cabin maintenance tasks
  • Work together as a team to provide excellent customer service and meet corporate objectives

Requirements

  • Successful completion of training course
  • Ability to meet company goals and customer expectations in a high energy environment
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous airline experience
