We are looking for a motivated and reliable professional to join our team as a Customer Service Agent in our Ground Handling Department. This position is crucial in maintaining our standard of excellence in delivering industry-leading service to our customers and airline partners. The primary responsibility of the Customer Service Agent is to assist passengers in boarding and disembarking flights, operate the Jetway, monitor computerized passenger boarding, and guide and park aircraft. The successful candidate will undergo a comprehensive training course to ensure they are well-prepared for the role. This position requires the ability to lift up to seventy (70) pounds and work outside in all weather conditions. The Customer Service Agent will report directly to the General Manager and will be expected to work collaboratively with the team to provide excellent customer service and meet corporate objectives. In this role, you will assist passengers with special needs, including arranging for wheelchairs and unaccompanied minors, change customer flight itineraries and seat assignments as required, load and unload baggage and cargo, operate motorized service vehicles and equipment, and perform cabin maintenance tasks. The work environment includes the use of computers, telephones, and other office equipment, and you will be working in an airport ramp environment, which is subject to varied weather conditions and elevated noise levels. This position requires flexibility as it includes all shifts, including weekends, nights, holidays, and/or irregular shifts. The physical demands of the job include frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, lifting, and climbing up and down stairs. You will also be responsible for handling objects up to 70 pounds regularly and assisting passengers with disabilities, including pushing wheelchairs. Employment is contingent upon a valid driver's license, a clear driving record, a 10-year Criminal History Records Check, and a drug screen as required. Proof of high school or GED completion is also required, and candidates must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
