About the position

The Customer Service Agent at TaskUs USA LLC is responsible for ensuring high-quality and safe experiences for both drivers and riders in a rideshare business. This role involves assisting individuals who have lost items or are experiencing safety issues, while also participating in wellness sessions and resiliency programs to support employee well-being. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle distressing situations with empathy and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high quality and safe experiences for drivers and riders in a rideshare business.
• Assist drivers and riders who have lost items or are experiencing safety issues.
• Participate in wellness sessions and resiliency programs.
• Interact with distressed, agitated, or in-danger riders and drivers.
• Gather and document information regarding safety concerns.
• Provide pre-arrival instructions for emergency medical calls.
• Treat all calls with empathy and compassion.
• Submit appropriate tickets regarding the nature of the calls received.
• Transfer drivers to the Driver support line for non-safety concerns.
• Document all tickets accurately to ensure proper resolution.
• Comply with security and privacy policies as shared by TaskUs.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to work on location in New Braunfels, TX.
• Ability to complete an assessment including a typing test of 25 wpm.
• Great communication skills, both written and orally.
• Experience with phone, email, and live chat support.
• Experience in customer service, sales, billing, collections, and technical support.
• Demonstrate strong abilities to work independently and as a remote team player.
• Must be adaptable and flexible to process and information changes.
• Willingness to participate in a background screening.
