About the position

The Customer Service and Administration Associate is essential for the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility, responsible for supporting various departments through a range of administrative and customer service tasks. This role requires a versatile individual capable of managing multiple responsibilities efficiently, ensuring excellent customer service and effective communication between teams.

Responsibilities

  • Enter orders and forecasts into the ERP system.
  • Provide order acknowledgement and updates.
  • Create quotes and provide pricing and follow-up.
  • Update activity in SalesForce.com.
  • Interact with customers to support their requirements.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries promptly.
  • Work with the manufacturing team to communicate customer needs and requirements.
  • Support all office activities, contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of the administrative team.
  • Work within the ERP system as required, supporting various departments through accurate data management and analysis.
  • Assist with material receiving, job creation, and production scheduling.
  • Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely job execution.
  • Support activities related to raw material procurement, purchased components, and outside services.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office software suite, including Excel formulas and pivot tables, and PowerPoint presentations.
  • 2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing business is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently to accomplish a wide range of tasks, demonstrating proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working within an ERP system, with a strong understanding of its functionalities and applications in a manufacturing setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage communications with both internal and external stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the capability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with a CRM like Salesforce is a plus.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.
