About the position

The Customer Experience Specialist at Hertz is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. This role involves resolving customer issues, analyzing performance metrics, and coaching employees to enhance service quality. The position serves as a liaison for the management team regarding Net Promoter Score (NPS) performance, focusing on improving guest satisfaction through effective communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Provide above-and-beyond customer service to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Handle and resolve customer issues at the counter with professionalism.
  • Act as the primary liaison for Net Promoter Score (NPS) communications and updates.
  • Analyze NPS results to identify causes and implement improvement plans.
  • Communicate and assist employees in understanding customer needs and provide coaching as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures among all staff.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in customer service, operations, and sales.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven relationship building and leadership skills.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Rental car experience is a plus.
