About the position
The Customer Service and Sales Representative plays a crucial role in assisting union employees, existing clients, and new members in understanding their insurance benefits. This position focuses on educating clients about the importance of insurance and facilitating the enrollment process during the annual enrollment period, ensuring that clients receive tailored insurance solutions that meet their needs.
Responsibilities
- Explain insurance policies to new members and existing clients via Zoom
- Develop and calculate tailored plans based on clients' needs
- Specialize in mortgage protection, final expenses, college funding, paycheck protection, etc.
- Resolve client inquiries and complaints
- Expand the company's reach through networking techniques and service travel (optional on a voluntary basis)
- Adhere to life insurance standards and regulations
- Identify areas for improvement and attend ongoing training sessions
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service, management, client relations, or related fields such as human resources is an asset
- Ability to build relationships with clients
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
