As a Customer Service Assistant at CarMax, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional customer experience by assisting customers with their inquiries and ensuring a smooth buying and financing process. This hybrid position requires effective communication skills in both Spanish and English, as you will interact with customers through various channels including phone, online, and text messaging. Responsibilities

  • Connect with customers online and over the phone to answer customer questions, conduct follow-ups, and confirm appointments.
  • Triage calls to the appropriate person or department to best assist the customer.
  • Complete administrative tasks such as processing payments and updating information in CarMax systems.
  • Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures, including collection policies and laws.
  • Learn and succeed as part of a team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent to 1-month related experience.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-energy and fast-paced environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English.
  • Basic computer knowledge, including word processing and typing skills.
  • Flexible work hours with shifts that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must meet minimum technology requirements for internet service.
