About the position

As a Customer Service Specialist at Extra Space Storage, you will be part of a diverse team dedicated to providing excellent customer service in a supportive company culture. This role involves working across multiple store locations within the district, focusing on customer interactions, sales goals, and maintaining facility standards. The position offers a day shift schedule, with the office closing at 6 PM, and emphasizes work/life balance and career development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Meet sales goals through unit rentals, unit insurance, and moving supplies.
• Guide new customers through rental processes and agreements.
• Maintain facilities by sweeping, mopping, changing light bulbs, etc.
• Work independently on daily tasks as well as cooperate with team members.
• May be required to run errands for the facility and travel to other store locations.

Requirements

• 1+ year of customer-facing employment experience.
• Strong computer skills.
• Current, valid driver's license with access to a reliable personal vehicle (except in NYC).
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
