About the position

The Customer Service Associate role involves providing support to customers by answering inquiries, guiding them through Energy Conservation programs, and ensuring their needs are met efficiently. This position is focused on delivering excellent customer service and requires effective communication skills to assist customers in understanding program benefits and eligibility.

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Learn the portfolio of Energy Conservation programs offered by the company.
  • Uncover customer needs and interests to help them navigate through the Energy Conservation programs.
  • Discuss eligibility requirements as defined in the terms and conditions of the programs.
  • Partner with program teams to ensure timely resolution of customer inquiries.
  • Route customers to the appropriate Energy Conservation program based on their needs.
  • Document customer interactions accurately.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to learn and understand Energy Conservation programs quickly.
  • Customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment.
  • Problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the energy sector or related fields.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
