We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team at Rosati's Pizza. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and your attention to detail will be essential in maintaining our high standards of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries.
• Process customer transactions accurately using a cash register.
• Handle cash and credit transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience and promote additional products.
• Maintain an organized and stocked checkout area, ensuring products are readily available for customers.
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
• Assist in supervising junior staff members, providing guidance as needed.
• Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment is preferred.
• Strong cash handling skills with a solid understanding of basic math and retail math principles.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience with product demos is a plus, showcasing your ability to engage customers effectively.
• A team player attitude with a willingness to assist colleagues as needed.
