About the position

The Customer Service Associate at ChefZone is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while processing customer purchases and ensuring product availability. This role emphasizes friendly and courteous interactions with customers, maintaining brand integrity, and fostering customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently processes customer orders by ringing sales and balancing the register.
• Answers customer inquiries and directs customers to specific products.
• Maintains a basic understanding of items carried in stock.
• Protects and develops the company's brands through PR activities and intellectual property management.
• Provides exceptional customer service and ensures that employees also provide the same level of service.
• Establishes and maintains customer relationships to accommodate both product and service needs.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• One year experience in grocery sales, customer service, or related work experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic to moderately difficult mathematical functions involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, averaging, and percentages.
• Good judgment in anticipating customer's needs and problem-solving.
