About the position

This position is responsible for ensuring fast, friendly, and accurate transactions at the point of sale, while providing a positive customer experience to Goodwill customers. The Customer Service Associate plays a crucial role in stocking and maintaining merchandising standards on the sales floor, all while ensuring a clean and safe environment. The role promotes and adheres to the mission and values of Goodwill-Easter Seals, which focuses on providing job training and customized career support to eliminate barriers to work and independence. In a typical day, a Customer Service Associate can expect to create a high level of customer service throughout the store, ensuring that all customers experience a welcoming atmosphere. The associate will follow policies and procedures and execute directives in a timely manner, contributing to the overall store operations. Additionally, the role involves providing a work environment that trains and develops participants in achieving their goals, thereby supporting the organization's mission. Safety is a key component of this position, as the associate will help contribute to a safe and welcoming environment for both employees and customers. The job offers a typical starting pay range between $14.00 - $17.00/hr, with a focus on work-life balance. Weekend and holiday shifts are limited, and the organization offers competitive pay, flexible hours, and a variety of benefit options, including an employee discount. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 0-3 years of relevant experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Strong decision-making skills and attention to detail.
  • Desire to provide excellent customer service.
