About the position
The position involves providing exceptional customer service at BJ's Wholesale Club, focusing on member acquisition, retention, and support for various membership programs. Team members are responsible for executing customer service tasks, handling merchandise returns, and ensuring a positive shopping experience while adhering to club policies and standards.
Responsibilities
- Execute Acquisition 365, renewing, upgrading, and cross-selling My BJs Perks.
- Handle merchandise returns, exchanges, pick-ups, and general customer service inquiries.
- Deliver excellent and efficient member service while addressing concerns and escalating issues as necessary.
- Support the application of club policies, procedures, and compliance.
- Maintain a safe and positive environment for members and team members.
- Work collaboratively to achieve team goals and uphold GOLD Member Standards.
- Promote BJ's value proposition regarding acquisition, retention, perks, and the member experience.
- Convert potential members by effectively pitching all membership programs.
- Serve as a first line point-of-contact for membership and credit card applications, and general inquiries.
- Monitor membership renewals and tax-exempt/resale status according to policies.
- Assist with Buy Online and Pick Up In Club (BOPIC) orders.
Requirements
- Prior front line/customer service or previous sales experience preferred.
- Results driven with proven success in goal achievement.
- Basic math skills preferred.
- Computer proficiency preferred.
