The position at Chevron Stations Inc (CSI) involves working at retail stations that sell gasoline and convenience products. The role requires individuals who are self-motivated, dependable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong focus on customer service and safety. Employees are expected to uphold the company's image standards and adhere to safety and hygiene regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain courteous, professional contact with co-workers, customers, vendors, and the community.
• Support and follow established safety, security, and quality guidelines as well as CSI's policies and procedures.
• Ensure food safety hygiene in accordance with county regulations.
• Conduct all point-of-sale activities accurately and safely while adhering to CSI guidelines and procedures.
• Maintain cash drawer and perform cashier reconciliation at each end of shift.
• Perform consistent station cleaning of indoor and outdoor facilities.
• Prepare food and hot beverage products, managing food service to maximize sales and minimize loss.
• Actively promote store specials and other marketing programs.
• Cross-check price of delivered goods for accuracy and distribute them in an orderly manner throughout the store.
• Observe local law requirements in activating and filling vehicle fuel tanks with gasoline or diesel fuel.

Requirements

• Available to work a variety of hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to handle challenging situations professionally and exercise exceptional judgement.
• Ability to work both independently and in team settings.
• Must possess required up-to-date food handling certificates, as required by law.
