About the position

As a Customer Service Associate at Raising Cane's, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service, which includes taking orders in the drive-thru, assembling and delivering food to customers, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced and upbeat environment, and we are currently hiring for all shifts, including morning and lunch shifts. Whether you have prior experience in customer service, retail, or the restaurant industry, we welcome applicants from all backgrounds. This is an entry-level position, and we provide comprehensive paid training to ensure you are well-prepared for your role. In your first year, you have the opportunity to earn up to an additional $1.50 per hour through training, certifications, and performance evaluations. Responsibilities

  • Take orders in the drive-thru and process payments efficiently.
  • Assemble and deliver food to customers.
  • Clean the dining room and maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Assist other crewmembers in completing tasks to ensure continuity of service.
  • Follow proper safety procedures when handling and preparing food.
  • Multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Must be 16 years of age or older.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to show up to scheduled shifts on time.
  • Ability to lift and carry, push or pull heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to kneel, bend, twist, or stoop as needed.
  • Ability to ascend or descend stairs and reach for objects above head and below waistline.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, or restaurant roles is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to work under pressure and at a fast pace.
  • Initiative and a positive attitude.
