About the position

The Customer Service Associate at nomnom in Bonners Ferry is responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a retail environment. Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt and courteous customer service, including assistance at the gas pump.
  • Accurately ring up all sales on the POS system and comply with cash handling procedures.
  • Manage cash and other forms of tender, including coupons.
  • Comply with company policies and store procedures, including safety and environmental policies.
  • Receive, stock, and organize merchandise.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels and conduct shift audits.
  • Participate in safety programs and attend mandatory job-related meetings.
  • Perform cleaning duties to maintain site cleanliness and equipment upkeep.
  • Work cohesively with other employees and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Perform all duties with minimal supervision and work flexible hours as needed.
  • Obtain and maintain required food and age-restricted product certifications.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 19 years of age and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience in retail sales and cash handling preferred.
  • Ability to perform basic math accurately.
  • Proficient communication skills in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to work various shifts and arrive on time.
  • Ability to work with equipment, tools, and materials as required.
