About the position

The Customer Service Associate is responsible for overseeing and participating in all sales floor and backroom activities to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. This part-time role involves maintaining a professional demeanor, ensuring the security of company assets, and performing various tasks related to customer service and store operations.

Responsibilities

  • Follow safety policies and procedures to ensure the security and protection of customers and company assets.
  • Perform Point of Sale functions and transactions, ensuring safe and accurate handling of cash and Goodwill property.
  • Ensure merchandise is displayed and stocked properly according to merchandising procedures.
  • Assist in production areas and accepting donations as needed.
  • Follow company policies and procedures as outlined in the Goodwill Employee Handbook.
  • Work cooperatively with consumers, community groups, and co-workers to promote customer satisfaction.
  • Work varied hours and days as business dictates.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including cleaning and recovery.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • 1-3 months of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
