About the position

The Customer Service Associate at Walgreens is responsible for delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience through efficient and courteous service. This role involves engaging with customers, processing transactions, and maintaining store operations to ensure a positive shopping environment.

Responsibilities

  • Engages customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
  • Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Models and shares customer service best practices with team members.
  • Registers customer purchases on assigned cash register and processes transactions efficiently.
  • Keeps counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, and takes inventory as needed.
  • Implements company asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss.
  • Constructs and maintains displays for promotional and seasonal merchandise.
  • Assists with food item separation and product placement according to policies.
  • Provides customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo services.
  • Monitors web pick-up orders and delivers them to customers as they arrive.
  • Ensures a clean and orderly store condition and appearance.
  • Completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer to have prior work experience with Walgreens.
