About the position

The Customer Service Associate/Ticket Agent at Greyhound Bus Services plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive customer experience at the terminal. This part-time position involves assisting customers with various services, managing cash transactions, and maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the terminal and buses.

Responsibilities

  • Directing customers throughout their time at the shop, assisting with correct loading areas and trip connections.
  • Providing schedule, routing, transfer, and current fare information to customers.
  • Updating travel documents, schedule monitors, information boards, and making PA system announcements.
  • Running ticket transactions with customers and providing baggage support, including service calls and phone sales.
  • Handling shipping duties, including calculating shipping costs and tracking packages/baggage.
  • Assisting with required shop reporting and documentation, including bus bills and inventory.
  • Scheduling and coordinating bus fuelings, cleanings, and lavatory dumps.
  • Monitoring overall shop presentation, including cleanliness and lost and found items.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of customer service experience preferred.
  • Cash handling experience.
  • Ability to handle packages and bags weighing up to 100 lbs.
  • Good problem solving and decision-making ability.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Spanish fluency a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
