About the position

The Customer Service Associate Trainee position is a part-time role focused on providing excellent customer service in a retail environment. The associate will be responsible for processing transactions, engaging with customers, and maintaining the store's cleanliness and organization. Responsibilities

  • Follow all Goodwill policies and safety procedures.
  • Process register transactions and handle money accurately.
  • Achieve a 40% Round-Up transaction average monthly.
  • Engage customers by greeting them, maintaining a clean store, and thanking them for their support.
  • Listen and respond to customer concerns effectively.
  • Manage the register line efficiently and use good phone etiquette.
  • Complete opening and closing procedures as necessary.
  • Stock and maintain the sales floor with newly processed merchandise.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and dressing rooms.
  • Establish or identify prices of goods with assistance if needed.
  • Utilize systems for announcements and maintain store cleanliness.
