As a Customer Service Associate at Walgreens, you will play a crucial role in delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with customers and patients, greeting them warmly and offering assistance with products and services. You will be expected to resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience, embodying the best practices of customer service. In addition to customer engagement, you will be responsible for operational tasks that include registering sales on the assigned cash register, providing efficient checkout service, and handling cash transactions. You will recommend items for sale, process returns and exchanges, and maintain a clean and well-merchandised store environment. Your role will also involve checking in merchandise, implementing asset protection procedures, and ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products. You will assist in constructing displays and maintaining product placement according to company policies. Furthermore, you will provide customer service in the photo area, assist with web pick-up responsibilities, and help maintain the store's interior and exterior appearance. Training and personal development are also key components of this position, as you will be required to attend training sessions and complete any necessary personal performance logs (PPLs) as requested by your manager or corporate. This position requires a willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the store and its customers.
