About the position
The Customer Service Associate at Walgreens is responsible for delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience by engaging with customers, providing efficient checkout service, and assisting with product inquiries. This role involves operating cash registers, maintaining store cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with company policies and local laws.
Responsibilities
- Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
- Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Model and share customer service best practices with team members.
- Register customer purchases on assigned cash register and process transactions efficiently.
- Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, and assist with inventory management.
- Implement company asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss.
- Construct and maintain promotional displays and assist with product placement according to policies.
- Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo services.
- Monitor web pick-up orders and deliver them to customers as they arrive at the store.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and orderly store appearance.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
- Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Nice-to-haves
- Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
- Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
