About the position

This position involves providing exceptional customer service for a furniture distributing company in the Brooklyn NY area. The role focuses on responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining accurate customer records, all while ensuring timely product delivery and effective communication with internal departments.

Responsibilities

  • Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer records using CRM software
  • Coordinating with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of products
  • Processing orders and ensuring proper documentation is in place
  • Providing customers with product information, pricing, and availability
  • Generating reports using Excel and Word as needed

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in customer service or a related field
  • Experience with CRM software, Excel, and Word
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, associate or bachelor's degree preferred
