About the position

The Customer Service Associate at Ollie's Bargain Outlet plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining the store's appearance. This part-time position emphasizes accurate register operation and effective communication with customers and team leaders to foster long-term loyalty and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every customer with Ollie's 'Yes I Care, Yes I Can' approach.
• Accurately and efficiently operate the register and approve refunds for other associates.
• Assist with training new Sales Associates.
• Help with receiving the truck, pricing items, and merchandising products.
• Maintain the store appearance and recover the store as needed.
• Communicate customer needs to Team Leaders when necessary.
• Complete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months of prior retail experience preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• A positive attitude and team player who wants to engage and serve customers.
