About the position

The Customer Service Associate position at Par Mar Oil Company is a part-time role focused on delivering excellent customer service and maintaining store operations. The associate will ensure prompt service, compliance with regulations, and a clean and organized environment while supporting the store manager.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining store operations to meet management needs while providing excellent customer service.
• Completing customer transactions by scanning products or manually entering prices into the register, finalizing sales, and collecting payments.
• Ensuring compliance with age-restricted products such as tobacco, alcohol, and lottery.
• Preparing food and beverages to meet customer expectations while following safe food handling procedures.
• Maintaining a clean and organized store, register area, and backroom.
• Ensuring cleanliness outside of the store.
• Making sure all deliveries are made according to company policy.
• Maintaining a safe and secure environment by adhering to company safety methods.
• Properly recording time worked and completing daily paperwork/record-keeping.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0-6 months work experience in a customer service role.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must successfully complete company training.
