About the position

The Customer Service Associate at Forget Me Not Flower Shop is responsible for providing exceptional service to customers, assisting with orders, and ensuring a positive experience from start to finish. This role involves direct interaction with customers both in-store and through various communication channels, requiring a friendly demeanor and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service to customers in-store, by phone, and through online channels.
  • Assist customers in selecting floral arrangements, gifts, and accessories.
  • Process orders for delivery and in-store pick-up accurately.
  • Address customer concerns related to products and services with empathy.
  • Gain a deep understanding of floral products and seasonal specials.
  • Upsell additional products to enhance customer experience.
  • Monitor and track the status of customer orders, keeping customers informed.
  • Collect feedback from customers and communicate suggestions to management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (some college or floral experience is a plus).
  • Previous customer service experience, ideally in a retail or service-oriented environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a calm demeanor under pressure.
  • Basic computer skills, familiarity with POS systems, email, and order tracking software.

Nice-to-haves

  • Floral experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
