About the position

The Customer Service Associate at the American Camp Association (ACA) plays a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients. This full-time position involves processing payments, maintaining records, and supporting various administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations at the ACA headquarters in Martinsville, IN.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service via email and phone calls to internal and external customers.
  • Receive, prepare, verify, and process incoming payments.
  • Perform data entry, filing, and prepare applications for processing.
  • Assist with the Immediate Corrective Action process for accreditation visits.
  • Create, update, and maintain accounts and records in the CRM system.
  • Set up professional development and accreditation meetings and events.
  • Maintain electronic and paper documentation, including scanning and filing documents.
  • Ensure accuracy of documentation, including proper signatories and document retention.
  • Follow all established SOPPs in a timely manner.
  • Provide administrative support to other teams as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Two years of experience in administration, data entry, customer service, and/or accounting.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work as a team player.
  • Experience with Microsoft CRM or similar database.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to use a postage machine and scanner.
  • Ability to work within the ACA's normal hours of operation.
