About the position

The Customer Service Associate at Walgreens is responsible for delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience through efficient and courteous service. This role involves engaging with customers, processing transactions, maintaining store appearance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Engages customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
  • Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Models and shares customer service best practices with team members.
  • Registers customer purchases on assigned cash register and processes transactions efficiently.
  • Keeps counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, and takes inventory as needed.
  • Implements company asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss.
  • Constructs and maintains displays for promotional and seasonal merchandise.
  • Assists with food item separation and product placement as per policies.
  • Provides customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo services.
  • Monitors web pick-up orders and delivers them to customers as they arrive.
  • Ensures clean and orderly store condition and appearance.
  • Completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer to have prior work experience with Walgreens.
