About the position

The Customer Service Associate role is focused on providing exceptional customer service and support to assigned customers. This includes managing customer orders, addressing inquiries related to products and services, and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the order management process. The position requires effective communication and coordination with various departments to resolve customer issues and maintain strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers over the telephone or through written communications to obtain and provide information about services, order status, and logistics issues.
• Receive and process customer orders, providing information concerning order status, pricing, changes, and delivery.
• Navigate multiple systems during the order management process to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Resolve or coordinate the resolution of customer issues and inquiries following defined processes and procedures.
• Investigate and correct errors related to customer orders and inquiries.
• Coordinate customers' service needs with other departments as required to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Update and maintain customer documents or files using internal recordkeeping systems.
• May solicit new or additional services or products from customers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0 to 1 year of customer service or related experience.
• Knowledge of and skill with Microsoft Office Suite and company computer systems.
• Strong customer focus and ability to respond courteously and efficiently to inquiries, complaints, and requests.
• Ability to project a professional image and interact positively with others.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Ability to conduct basic research into issues or situations and follow through on tasks.
• Basic arithmetic skills for handling customer transactions.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
