About the position

The position at Chevron Stations Inc (CSI) involves working at retail gas stations, focusing on providing exceptional customer service while ensuring safety and compliance with company policies. The role requires individuals who are self-motivated, dependable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a strong customer focus and adhering to safety and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain courteous, professional contact with co-workers, customers, vendors, and the community.
• Support and follow established safety, security, and quality guidelines as well as CSI's policies and procedures.
• Report accidents or incidents to the manager immediately.
• Ensure food safety hygiene in accordance with county regulations.
• Follow federal law and company standards on carding customers for age-restricted products.
• Work professionally with vendors and contractors.
• Provide exceptional guest service and greet all customers courteously.
• Conduct all point-of-sale activities accurately and safely.
• Maintain cash drawer and perform cashier reconciliation at each end of shift.
• Perform consistent station cleaning of indoor and outdoor facilities.
• Prepare food and hot beverage products, managing food service effectively.
• Actively promote store specials and marketing programs.
• Cross-check price of delivered goods for accuracy and distribute them orderly throughout the store.
• Observe local law requirements in activating and filling vehicle fuel tanks.

Requirements

• Available to work a variety of hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to handle challenging situations professionally and exercise exceptional judgment.
• Ability to work both independently and in team settings.
• Must possess required up-to-date food handling certificates, as required by law.
