About the position

The Wireless Customer Service Representative role at DISH is designed for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional customer service and support in the wireless industry. This position involves engaging with customers through voice and chat interactions, resolving issues, and promoting DISH's wireless products and services. Representatives will work in a collaborative team environment, gaining expertise in the latest wireless technology while building long-term customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality customer service and technical support to customers.
  • Establish long-term customer relationships through exceptional service and one-call resolution.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of wireless products, accessories, and pricing plans.
  • Provide product suggestions and sell products and services to customers.
  • Accurately respond to customer inquiries regarding billing, devices, product features, troubleshooting, and hardware operation.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement by assessing call trends and providing feedback.
  • Engage with a diverse consumer base to provide solutions for customer needs and technical issues.

Requirements

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Customer-first mindset and a positive attitude.
  • Desire to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Related customer service experience and/or training is a plus.
  • Experience in the wireless industry is a plus.
  • Familiarity with wireless devices and their functions.
  • Ability to operate Windows OS desktop computers smoothly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and effectively problem solve.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with the process of changing wireless providers.
  • Strong sense of pride in assisting customers with pricing and services.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and evenings.
