About the position

The Customer Service Associate (CSA) at Bell 2 Bell Educator Supplies, LLC is responsible for ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. This role involves greeting customers, operating cash registers, maintaining merchandise presentation, and managing online sales. The CSA also performs various cleaning tasks and assists with art classes and camps, all while adhering to company policies and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Processes register transactions and operates laminating machines.
• Measures and cuts butcher paper, creates die cuts, and utilizes binding machines.
• Updates the store website and manages online sales according to company policies.
• Provides prompt and efficient responses to customer inquiries and requests.
• Takes accurate markdowns and counts inventories as scheduled.
• Maintains product knowledge to assist customers effectively.
• Performs cleaning tasks to ensure a neat and organized store environment.
• Safeguards confidential customer and credit card information.
• Maintains awareness on the sales floor to prevent theft.
• Reports unsafe conditions and follows safety policies.
• Understands and follows cash handling policies and procedures.
• Assists with scheduling and organizing paint classes and art camps.
• Demonstrates courtesy, respect, friendliness, and professionalism at all times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous cash handling experience.
• Previous work experience in a retail or school setting preferred.
• Proficiency with computers and related software applications.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Previous experience in education highly preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
