About the position

The Branch Associate / Delivery Driver at Sherwin-Williams is responsible for receiving, preparing, and delivering automotive finishes while providing excellent customer service. This part-time role involves operating tinting and mixing equipment, handling materials, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment. The position requires interaction with customers and adherence to safety and inventory control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Load and unload products from deliveries
• Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistent with policies and procedures
• Deliver products to the customer in a safe and timely manner
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
• Ensure that the stockroom is organized
• Operate tinting, mixing, and color matching equipment, as needed
• Comply with inventory control procedures and assist with bi-annual inventory review

Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
• Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
• Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, with or without reasonable accommodation

Nice-to-haves

• Have at least a High School diploma or GED
• Have at least one (1) year of work experience using material handling equipment
• Have at least one (1) year of work experience in customer service, retail, or sales
