About the position

The Monitoring Representative I at ADT is responsible for responding to and managing alarm activity, ensuring the safety and security of customers. This role involves verifying and dispatching emergency signals, answering incoming calls, and maintaining communication with emergency responders. The position requires working onsite and may involve weekend, holiday, and shift work, along with mandatory overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Verifies, responds to, and dispatches on emergency signals.
• Answers incoming calls and notifies customers of non-emergency signals.
• Processes basic data changes to customer accounts.
• Keeps abreast of organization goals and policies.
• Meets minimum productivity and quality standards set for the role.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• 1 to 3 months related experience or training/certification preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and basic computer skills.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Strong decision-making and organizational skills.
