The Customer Service Center (CSC) Manager at Suburban Propane is a pivotal role that requires an enthusiastic, customer-focused, and business-oriented individual. Reporting directly to the Region General Manager, the CSC Manager will oversee the planning and supervision of the day-to-day operations of the center. This includes managing all aspects of profit and expense activities, which encompass sales, inventory, fleet management, staffing, and customer acquisition and retention strategies. In this role, the CSC Manager will be tasked with managing the CSC staff, which involves interviewing, hiring, coaching, training, and managing performance to ensure a high level of service delivery. The manager will also monitor and assure compliance in various areas, including safety, health/environmental regulations, human resources, and financial/ethical considerations. A key responsibility will be to ensure that all customer interactions and services are performed in a manner that consistently meets or exceeds customer expectations, thereby supporting customer acquisition and retention efforts.
