Responsibilities

  • Conduct research, including desk research and comparisons with an internal database.
  • Create delivery reports and confirm accuracy with reports.
  • Process orders, manage delivery control, and handle back-end sales activities.
  • Ensure accuracy of order numbers, contents, and requests to suppliers.
  • Check availability of existing reports and analyze credit reports for necessary adjustments.
  • Deliver products to clients by the contracted due date.
  • Communicate with clients and suppliers via phone, email, fax, or letter to process orders and inquiries.
  • Provide customer service to address questions and issues arising from orders.
  • Manage an internal database with speed, product type, and status updates.
  • Build trusting relationships with existing suppliers.
  • Report sales activities to the manager on a weekly/monthly basis.
  • Process credit card payments and ensure accuracy of sales and costs.
  • Issue invoices and checks to clients and suppliers, respectively.
  • Prepare necessary documents and reports for meetings.

Requirements

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese.
  • 5 years of customer service experience with a focus on client services and data entry.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • 3 years of administrative experience.
