About the position

The Customer Service Coordinator I at Helen of Troy plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by efficiently processing orders and maintaining communication with various departments. This position involves auditing and processing sales orders, managing customer records, and tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery. The role is designed for individuals who are detail-oriented and possess strong communication skills, contributing to the overall success of the customer service team.

Responsibilities

  • Audit, prepare, and process manual, EDI, and internet orders.
  • Ensure customer expectations are met by coordinating with Warehouse, Accounts Receivable, EDI, and Marketing Departments.
  • Process EDI and non-EDI sales and sample orders for Tier 3 customers.
  • Maintain basic customer records, including shipping addresses and item cross references.
  • Communicate order information to customers and Sales Representatives via phone, email, TEAMS, and ticketing systems.
  • Supervise sales orders to ensure timely processing to the warehouse.
  • Track shipments to ensure timely delivery and update trackers as required.
  • Answer basic internal and external inquiries related to the order to cash cycle.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma.
  • 2+ years in related experience.
  • Typing speed of 40 WPM.
  • Proven experience in filing, data entry, document control, faxing, and copying.
  • Experience with Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, Acrobat, Java, and Win Zip.
  • Warehouse knowledge including order picking, shipping/receiving, bar code scanning, Bill of Landings, invoicing, and inventory.
  • Accounts Receivable knowledge including invoicing, collections, forecasting, item master, managerial and financial reporting.
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
