About the position

The Customer Service Coordinator at CTDI serves as a vital liaison between customers and operations, focusing on delivering value-added services that enhance business growth. This role primarily involves handling customer inquiries and concerns via telephone and email, ensuring timely responses and effective communication. The position requires sound judgment and problem-solving skills, operating within a 3PL warehouse environment rather than a traditional office setting.

Responsibilities

  • Handle all incoming and outgoing customer telephone calls in a professional manner.
  • Coordinate all customer service requests to ensure a timely response to our customers.
  • Coordinate with operations on processing of expedite receipts and shipments.
  • Perform daily processing of Non-Conformance products.
  • Update customer portal with Non-Conformance data.
  • Act as liaison for customers to resolve opportunities with QC/Operations.
  • Foster and operate in a continuous improvement environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • 3+ years' experience in customer service and logistics is required.
  • Proficient in MS Office with an emphasis on Excel and Word.
  • Proficient in modern WMS systems in a 3PL Warehousing environment.
  • Ability to handle a variety of customer situations with enthusiasm and tact.
  • Ability to work with all levels of employees and management, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to lift 25lb cartons and work with manual pallet jacks.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of and adhere to all policies and procedures.
