The role involves managing all sales activities for assigned accounts, ensuring a unique customer experience, and providing support to sales representatives and various internal departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining the day-to-day processes for clients. This fast-paced environment requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask effectively. Daily responsibilities include keying and verifying sales orders for both retail and food service sectors, answering telephone calls, directing them to the appropriate contacts, and assisting with customer inquiries and order pickups. The role also involves communication and paperwork management for retail accounts and collaboration with departments such as purchasing, distribution, customer service, and accounts receivable. Identifying and resolving customer concerns is a critical aspect of this position, as is assisting account managers with collections and credit issues. Candidates should possess strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, and demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. While a college degree is preferred, it is not mandatory, and 2-3 years of relevant experience is considered a plus. Responsibilities

  • Keying and verifying sales orders for retail and food service accounts.
  • Answering telephone calls and directing them to the appropriate contact or assisting with incoming sales calls.
  • Greeting customers and handling inquiries and order pickups as needed.
  • Managing communications and paperwork for retail accounts and other departments such as purchasing, distribution, customer service, and accounts receivable.
  • Identifying and resolving customer concerns effectively.
  • Assisting customers and sales representatives with basic needs.
  • Supporting account managers with collections and credit issues.

Requirements
