CUSTOMER SERVICE INSURANCE AGENT + COMMISSIONS

About the position

The Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR) Sales Agent at Remco Insurance is responsible for managing customer interactions, including answering phone calls and responding to emails, with the goal of building long-term customer relationships. This entry-level position does not require prior experience but emphasizes the importance of a positive attitude, responsibility, and strong communication skills. The role involves processing orders, maintaining customer accounts, and collaborating with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage large amounts of incoming calls.
• Answer all inbound phone calls and respond appropriately to all emails received from customers.
• Maintain and create new customer relationships by following up with customers when necessary; answering questions or concerns; and providing information regarding products, pricing, and other aspects of the business.
• Manage customer accounts to meet company goals for productivity, customer retention, and call volume.
• Accurately process orders and provide accurate information to co-workers, management, and customers.
• Work with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction at all levels.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening required.
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with a heavy volume of calls.
• Must be good under pressure and able to problem solve.
• Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Must be computer savvy (Print, Copy, Scan, Search Desktop).

Nice-to-haves

• Previously experience in customer service or other related fields preferred, but not required.
